Hello my little beauty lovers! Welcome to my very first blog post. This blog will be packed full of reviews, tips, and lessons on current trendy products and daily skin care/beauty routines! All my reviews will be honest and from the heart. I will be taking into consideration my shopping experience, online marketing, packaging, use, and results for this specific item. Here we go!

Today I will be reviewing an item that immediately caught my eye in Ulta. It is the teeth whitening pen from Kendall Jenner called Moon. Even though the display was clearly still being built and the shelves were nearly bare, this product still stood out to me. From it's sleek and mysterious black/white packaging to the gorgeous shot of Kendall Jenner, everything about this product seems to draw us in and puzzle us until we read what it is. This is a teeth whitening pen that you use twice a day for two weeks. It has retailed at 29.99 at my local Ulta. Upon further investigation, you can purchase this pen for 19.99 on their website. A big plus is that it's cruelty-free and vegan!
Of course when I saw a Kardashian advertising a product, I was skeptical. They like to pump out product ads for items that are virtually useless most of the time. Aka: Sugar Bear Hair Gummies. I knew I had products to review so I picked it up anyway. Just to be clear: I have seen ZERO ads for this product on social media, which is poor marketing in my opinion. I quickly checked Kendall's Instagram page for the pen but came up with zero ads even though the pen is already being sold.
My teeth have always been a white shade with yellow discoloration to them. I have to admit, I was surprised by the results I experienced. My first try with the pen I applied the liquid to my front teeth top and bottom. Just the ones you mainly see in my smile. You have to wait thirty seconds before closing your mouth and avoid swallowing. I wouldn't have wanted to anyway. Even though it said the flavor was vanilla, it just tasted like chemicals, but was tolerable enough to just keep in your mouth. The package told me to avoid eating for 10-30 minutes, which to me seems like a pretty vauge and broad timeline.

One amazing plus side to this product is that I have experienced zero sensitivity in my teeth. Me chomping through ice cream? Forget it. I have the most sensitive teeth in the world. I love that I have a product that I can use on a normal basis that has produced great results with no sensitivity. I've definitely noticed a drastic change in my teeth. They seem brighter and more appealing. However, I would like to know why you only use it for two weeks and how long in between should I wait before purchasing a new one.
A couple weeks later, my phone started to listen to me and gave me ads for the Moon Line. My local Ulta released the entire collection. I ended up picking a toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash. None of the products had a bad taste. They're all quite tolerable, considering how bad whiteners tend to taste.
Overall, I found this to be a great product. Is this a miracle pen that changed my teeth forever? No. You definitely need to keep up with regular brushing, flossing, and avoiding acidic drinks. It gradually made my teeth brighter and whiter. I'd say it maybe lightened me one or two shades on its own, which I suppose is pretty impressive! Adding their other products to my routine definitely helped maintain my results and I do feel like I have pretty, white teeth now. I will continue using them and the brand until I no longer feel it benefits me. I recommend Moon products to my readers!
